The course must be approved by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). In this regard the cotton dust standard provides at 29 CFR 1910.1043(h)(1)(iii) that, "persons other than licensed physicians, who administer the pulmonary function testing required by this section shall complete a NIOSH approved training course in spirometry."
94010- Spirometry, including graphic record, total and timed vital capacity, expiratory flow rate measurements.
94060-Bronchospasm evaluation, spirometry as in 94101 before and after bronchodilator.
94375- Respiratory flow volume loop.
94015- Patient recorded spirometry,recording( includes hook up,reiforced education,data transmission, data capture,trend analysis, and period recalibration.
