The most common problem is the rechargeable battery in the handle. Most batteries from Welch Allyn will give you about 2 years of regular charging . They will eventually stop holding a charge and will have to be replaced. Be sure you insert the battery in the handle correctly( check the + mark is in the correct way.)When ordering the battery make sure to give the correct part number. Usually on the battery.

Lamps will go bad and will need to be replaced. replacing the lamp can be a challenge. Call your service provider and they can explain the process to you over the phone.
